SuperStream Compliance
The deadline for switching to SuperStream has now passed. All employers should now be paying super and reporting data in an appropriate electronic format. If your business is not doing this, you are not compliant with SuperStream.
To use SuperStream, you need to pay super and send employee information electronically. If you're already doing this, you may only need to refine your system to send the contribution data in the standard format. You can use:
- a payroll system that meets the SuperStream standard
- your super fund's online system
- a super clearing house
- a messaging portal
We encourage small businesses that haven't made the switch to SuperStream, to take reasonable steps to find a SuperStream solution that best suits their business's needs.
If you have any queries regarding your SuperStream compliance obligations please don’t hesitate to contact our office.
